Game Developer, Programmer, Cat Dad

I'm a talented and experienced developer,
forged in the fires of indie games,
and I'm looking for work!

Tried and Tested Experience

Since entering the games industry in 2021, I have gained a new appreciation and understanding for how large games are structured and built. I love learning new things and using that knowledge to build cool projects

Save the Castle!

SteamVR / Quest - Releasing Jan. 2025
  • Place, manage, and take over every tower on the battlefield to turn the tide of the war in this VR Action Tower Defense
  • Working primarily solo, I built systems like a procedural terrain generator and custom enemy pathfinding logic

Common'Hood

Steam - Fall 2022, Xbox - Spring 2023
  • Build a home and a community in this Indiecade Impact award nominated story-based crafting game
  • Helped build the online sandbox mode
  • Built the localization system
  • Also worked on bug fixes, QoL improvements, etc

UC Irvine Class of 2023 - Zot Zot Zot!

I've wanted to make video games since I was around 7, so I went to UCI to study Computer Game Science. My first quarter, I joined the Video Game Development Club (VGDC), and immediately started working on real games. In my time there, I worked on tons of cool games with lots of cool people, worked on countless game jams and quarter-length projects, and fell in love with making games as an art form.

Transit and Bike Safety Champion

I wanted to make a real difference in my adopted city of Irvine, so two years ago, I was part of the group that co-founded Remake Irvine Streets for Everyone. RISE has had some recent wins, including increasing the frequency of the new Irvine Connect bus from an hour to 20 minutes between busses, as well as helping expand the city's Class IV protected bike lane network

Proud Cat Dad

When I'm not working on a game or attending city council meetings, you can find me hanging out at home with my partner and our two furry sons. One benefit of working from home is them taking turns keeping my lap company while I'm working
